Business Banking Sales Manager

Our client is seeking to hire a Business Banking Sales Manager to supervise seven Relationship Managers in four distinct markets.

This role includes responsibility for managing the overall sales process, to include new loans, deposits and other related products and services. This role will also include responsibility for maintaining safe and sound credit quality for all new business, as well as the existing $200 million loan portfolio. The sales manager will also ensure that the Business Banking department is adhering to all relevant government regulation, as well as the policies & procedures established.

The sales manager will provide significant input towards Business Banking goals, marketing efforts, policies & procedures, and products & services offered.


Four year degree required; MBA or other related graduate study preferred.

Must have credit experience

At least 5 years of business banking sales, and loan structuring experience.

At least 3 years of Management / Supervisory experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary to effectively and cooperatively interact with business banking members & staff, other employees within Altra, and various centers of influence within the communities we serve.

Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task and work independently.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex business banking documents.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such a probability and statistics, as well as the ability to apply fundamental concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and portions to practical situations.

Ability to reason, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.

Proficient computer skills in all Microsoft Office products.
